At an event held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Popular Power for Hydrocarbons, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro made a strong declaration about the country’s openness to international investments in the hydrocarbons sector.

During the activation of the Hydrocarbons Engine and the Production, Supply, and Export (PAE) formula, President Maduro stated: “I can declare, in full exercise of my constitutional powers, that Venezuela is and will remain open to all international investments in oil, gas, petrochemicals, and refining.”

Accompanied by Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, First Lady Cilia Flores, and other high-ranking officials, Maduro celebrated the nine years of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda (AEB), which currently operates with 13 productive engines aimed at transforming the national economy.

In his speech, the president emphasized the importance of these engines in creating a comprehensive economic model that links national production with the international market.

President Maduro presented the PAE formula as “the perfect one,” highlighting its ability to generate convertible foreign currency and strengthen the Venezuelan economy despite the adversities imposed by sanctions and blockades.

The president also called on government officials to commit to this vision of economic development. He reiterated that Venezuela is prepared to continue advancing in a global context marked by energy and economic challenges, stating that “no one will be able to remove us from the equation of stability and energy security in today’s world.”

With this, President Maduro reaffirms Venezuela’s position as a key player in the international energy market, promoting a message of resilience and self-sufficiency in the face of external difficulties.
